Question Power Steering flush question

I have been searching for a day and have not ran into anything talking about my issue.

I had a leak coming from the lower hose, runs from Res to bottom of pump. The factory clamp came apart at pump. I replaced the hose and clamps on both ends. I refilled and followed the instructions in the wave manual on flushing.
I took one complete quart to fill res after hose change. I have since used 2 more quarts during the flushing procedure.
The issue I am having is, I get fluid out of the bleed screw while turning in one direction but nothing while turning in the other, my res is foaming to the point that it will come out of the cap opening.

I used LR fluid @ $14 a quart !!
My question is does it take this long, is it normal for the fluid to only come out while turning in one direction and not the other?

Oh, the pump groans as well no matter which direction it turns in.

Thanks for all the help.

Do you get bubbles in the return when the wheels are straight?
It could be sucking in air at the hose clamps that you replaced.

There was always a little churning in the tank looks to be the same that way. Pump makes no noise unless actually turning wheels, once you atop turning no matter what the position they are in it stops whining.

I rechecked clamps, no leakage found anywhere. I pressure washed under carrage to get rid of all the oil spilled while bleeding too.
