2 of the 7 pozidriv #3 bits stripped on the way out, and before I extract them, I want to have the right screws to replace them with. I called AB and they don't have the specs... Spent a long time in Lowe's and found a close match, but the threads were thicker.

Anyone know what exact thread count and size goes into the oil pump cover? I have to have the truck back together by Friday, so at this point, I'm just going to have to replace these oil pump gears at a later date; I've already had the truck on jacks a week waiting for part after part. This was really just a "just in case" replacement anyway.

The picture looks wrong, but it says it's 12mm long and 6mm wide.

 

Joemama, thank you so much. I found that screw at Lowe's just now with the help of a few staff and it fits perfectly. So I can change out the oil pump gears after all. You saved me another trip into the front cover for this. Thank you thank you thank you.
