I agree. I just wish there was a mount that was more solid. Whenever I hit the trails, mine is always falling off the windshield. I did mount it where my coin holder was on the dash, but just didn't like it as much, so I moved it back to the windshield.

True - Mine is attached with velcro on the coin-tray. I haven't decided if I want to keep it there...

The mount (with 3M adhesive strip) which I ordered with the UG worked well for me.

That looks real nice. Any links for the mount you used?

Best thing I did, was remove the Velcro that came with the unit and used 3M double sided tape to mount the plastic bracket to the dash. Holds like a champ.

I ordered it from the UltraGauge website for $6.40:

UltraGauge Horizontal Surface Mount [UG-Horizontal_Mnt] - $6.40 : UltraGauge, OBD II Scan Tool & Information Center

Great addition to any car. Here is how i mounted mine. Solid mount with a simple 90 deg bracket.

Where/how to mount the Ultra-Gauge is a frequent topic of Forum discussion! I started a thread (Aug/Sept) when I first received mine, and NabisOne and EricTyrrell were 2 members who I remember helped me with suggestions (not to exclude S. Buzz, of course! ) Eric posted details for me on his RAM mount (9.6.2013). The double-sided tape is another good suggestion; there's a good write-up by a member on that mount, too. If you search previous threads and posts, you'll find lots of Ultra-Gauge suggestions, so you don't need to re-create the wheel . One thing I noticed is that I like to have easy access to it b/c, if I get an alarm and want to suspend it, I need to have access to that "down" button on the back, so I can press it...which I need to do often if I'm watching engine temps on my Ultra-Gauge b/c I have a bad cat, so it keeps sounding the alarm for me , unless I unplug it from the OBD port.
