Default Preferred car wash soap

As of this post, I will hand wash the disco with Meguires. in about 1 hour of time. Does anyone have a good soap they use?? I try to stay away from "oxidizers", as it fades out the black plastic. Any rituals used to keep soap scum at a minimum??

Off the store shelf I’d say Meguiar a gold class but online I’d say either chemical guys mrpink or snow foam or car shampoo from Adams. I need a soap that’s ceramic coating safe and that works well from a foam cannon. But what you are using is good

I'm a fan of Chemical guys, they are on the shelf now at Advance Auto which is super handy. Their aerosol tire black is also awesome for making the plastics look new again

a lot of their stuff is a hit or miss since sometimes they seem to be more of a marketing company than a detailing company but from experience they do make excellent soaps

I have had good luck as well with their swirl remover and hand wax. Not a fan of their spray wax.

Meguires Gold Class car wash, I've used it for years and it's the best stuff for the price. Can get a gallon at Costco for $10 or so.
