Default Price check on the steering rod isle, please.

Have a pretty worn tie rod end... The built on end..
Sorry ball joint I think is the rover term. Anyway I want to replace drag and track with the rod set up that all four ends are threaded. I found an hd rod set for 200 at rovers north. All the TF sets are like 60 more than that. I'm fine with that unless.....Did I miss a place to look? 2hunny sound about as good as it gets?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried a tierod from another vehicle like a Jeep or an old Ford Bronco? A straight link with ends isn't really that sophisticated. $200 isn't a bad deal but I should think a used link with new ends would be cheaper.

Just found this site: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Plain-...Ends,3306.html

i would suggest going with one that all the tie rods/ball joints can be replaced, unlike the stock.
you might want to see if one has greasable tie rods/ ballpoints unlike the stock.

if they are not greasable, can i just add nipples? just a centered zerk in the top, right?

I dont know most likely not. The only reason i bring it up is I bought a TDE and was surprised that the replacement did not have a grease fitting. I think i would look into Moog next time and see what they have, i'm sure they can be cross referenced
