Default Progress !!!!

3” Terrafirma lift kit with extended brake lines and extended links, TF steering damper, Tom Woods front drive shaft, front bumper and 12k lb winch. Brakes bled, but getting EVAP codes because I started the car to move it down the driveway in the middle of the suspension job. Dummy move. T-stat going in this week. Tires went on today. Here are some pics.

Those are my favorite OEM wheels. Is that the bumper from lucky 8?

Hows the 3" kit ride? I can't decide if I want to go with the basic 3" kit or get the full blown lucky8 4" or RTE lift kit with all the arms and such.

Looks amazing! I actually just bought heavy duty 2 inch Terrafirma lift with extended links. I was trying to decide wether to buy the lift or the bumper first. Is that the CFE bumper from Lucky 8? I am strongly considering it but I can't find any photos of it anywhere.

Yes the bumper is the lucky 8 bumper winch combo. Easy install. So far the lift rides great, although I've got one day on the lift and tires. It's way better than the shot suspension I had on!!!!

Dealbergaria thanks!!!! yes that's the CFE bumper winch combo. And as opposed to the pic on their website, it takes some grill trimming to fit. I went a little overboard with it but I'm impatient and did it with a Dremmel. Wrong tool for the job. But overall fast shipping and easy install. I highly recommended Lucky8. Also they are willing to talk you through stuff if you're a bone head like me.

I think you have to get a rear double cardon driveshaft if the lift is above 2 inches.

Not from what I've read and been told but I'll keep an eye on it. Flex coupler is about 5k miles on it.

Great looking Dll. Hate to sound like a...Nancy...but you should never, ever, work on a vehicle that is on jack stands...on any type of grade. This is coming from a guy that has been a mechanic for forty some years....and the reason I'm still here...is because safety is paramount whenever working under a vehicle. Okay, that's my lecture for today. Please carry on...but be safe!

Brian.

Brian point well taken and duly noted. We actually had it farther up the driveway which had a steeper grade but that was way sketchy. Moved it to a more flat portion and carried on. Hindsight being 20/20 it was not a good risk. Kinda stupid even. Thankfully nothing happened but rain!
