Default Prop Rod rubber swivel piece... ???

Hello everyone, today the rubber piece that fits on the swivel end of the hood (bonnet) prop rod gave up the ghost. Does anyone know what this part number is? The closest I can find on AB is the 'hood buffer' but that's not what I'm looking for.

Or you can find a "close enough" fit rubber grommet at a hardware store. I don't recall exactly where I got mine a few years ago but it was far less expensive. Probably Lowe's or Home Depot. It fits the mounting hole pretty well but its center hole is bigger than the original. Not a big deal to me; it keeps the rod from rattling.

SWEET.... that's more than enough to get a mint condition P38! Hell, I might have enough change leftover to give you a down payment on the coolant hose "adapter".

Thanks, but right now I'm good. I do think you should look into making/selling this part. One hell of an improvement over OE.

And I know you "don't want to make $" from this venture, but how about enough to get a pair of these>... Mechanics Brake Bleeder Screw Cufflinks in Gold Tone Metal Unsigned Unique Tools | eBay

Now that's a BIG look!
