Prop-shaft Grease issue - maybe?

Prop-shaft Grease issue - maybe? [Solved]
I am doing the Major service slowly on my new to me Discovery 2 - and have attempted to grease the prop-shaft.
However when i attempt to pump grease it just comes out around the zerk fitting, is this what is supposed to happen? If not what should happen?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Solution:
I am ashamed to admit the answer was PRESS hard. Apparently the end of my gun is a little funny - so i had to unscrew the nozzle then tighten the nozzle on the zerk. THEN i had to press down on it while i pumped. Looks like i need to by a new fitting for my gun.

don't forget to grease the centering ball, between the double u-joint.
You will need a Lincoln needle adapter and press it against the needle-point fitting. It's really small and easy to miss if you don't know what you are looking for (and it's covered with grease)
It will look something like the following photo in the link, except it will be on the centering ball and not the u-joint:

You can search this site to find out what happens if you religiously grease the u-joints, but fail to grease the center ball... .

There's nothing in the OP indicating anything other than perhaps a rebuilt OE propshaft.
There's a tiny hole in the back side of the center hear opposite the center bearing where grease can be pumped in using a bent syringe needle grease gun attachment.
