I’ve read several different ways but this is what worked for me, remove the bleed screw, and fill the recovery tank until you have a GOOD flow of coolant coming from the vent. Then put the screw back in, raise the recovery tank (it just snaps into a clip) the hose should allow you to raise it 6-8 inches. The recovery tank has to be the highest point in the system for the air to gravitate to it. Star the truck let it run while keep the tank filled to the proper level. Shut the truck of put the tank back into place, check it again the next couple of morning and top off when needed. :Like I said this what worked for me.

Bleed only when stone cold and the engine off.
As mentioned, remove the bleed screw and add coolant until you have a steady stream from the bleed screw, then replace the bleed screw and cap, start the engine with both heaters full hot and drive for a few minutes. Recheck the coolant level the next morning before cold starting.
Also, if you haven't replaced your t/stat and coolant cap, might be a great time to do this along with switching to green coolant and adding something like Water Wetter or Purple Ice.
