Pulling engine out
I have everything ready to pull the motor out except un-mating it from transmission....
That cover facing forward bolted under the bell housing I need to take off to unbolt the flywheel from the torque converter ?
I have all the bell housing bolts off,
just curious if that is what I take off to get to the flywheel...

thake the cover under the transmission bell housing with the three 8mm bolts on adn you'll see the teeth on flexplate. now remove the right hand side inspection cover on the oil pan its rubber and you should see the bolts the the torque convertor and flex plate just spin the transmission either by the teeth or by front crank pulley.

Since I have 2 motors, and both are out,should I rebuild the good one before I put it in ?
Rebuild the transmission while it's easy to get out ?
I'm gonna have the radiator cleaned and inspected ..
Accepting ALL Suggestions of things to do since im at this moment ....

Cause it still has the steel head gaskets instead of the new composite ones...
After a fresh rebuild there's less of a chance of something failing, gasket, pump, things like that ...
A motor that has been considerably used and is at 90k miles isn't definately going to fail anytime soon, but it could ...
I'd rather do work while it's on a rotating engine stand compared to inside my engine compartment ...

Also, I now know that the head gaskets can be upgraded.
