I saw an advertisement in Popular Science this weekend about pulse plugs (brand Pulstar) as opposed to spark plugs. Has anyone ever heard of these or tried them? I'm not in need of new plugs at the moment, I'm just curious about the technology and what others have heard or experienced.

 

There was a post a few weeks ago about them, no one has had any experience with them. If you want some good 100,000 miles plugs, throw in a set of Bosch Platium Plus 4's and you'll be fine.

I just saw them on the latest Summit flyer. $15 each. I wonder if they are worth the $120+ for a set.

You can do your $ saving fuel numbers based on their best case numbers and expect less in your real world environment. Summit sells snake oils along side of their other products like most vendors out for your bucks. Please report back with your test report if you succumb to the allure. Thanks.
