Default Q on radiator purchase...

I'm looking for a new radiator, and have read tons of threads relating to them. So I go to purchase one today and a few issues pop-up. One of the more popular choices is the Nissens from Rock- Auto, around $210, or so. but then there's this $98 shipping charge- is that correct? wtf!? also, it looks like all the descriptions I'm seeing are for "w/ Secondary Air Injection"- I don't have SAI, do I want the one for SAI? thanks!...

parts geek is $212 shipped on the nissen
sai requires hooking up to the threaded plug hole. non sai requires leaving the plug in. they all come sai ready. just leave the plug alone and install.
$212 and about 30minutes + fill and bleed= good to go

I let my mechanic put mine in because I was working 12 hour shifts when this problem came up and just didn't want to spend the little free time I had under the Disco, and he agreed to do it for 100 bucks. I do remember him telling me that I had got a bargain on that one when I picked it up. LOL. It was rougher than he had planned for.

I got mine from MyClassicRadiator on ebay for like 123 dollars plus a little shipping if I remember correctly. Zero problems so far and its been over 3 years now.

just did it 3 or 4 weeks ago. popped of the grill and top shroud, unhooked the 3 hoses, unplugged the 4 oil lines. removed the little bolts. pulled the rad. and coolers. swapped. no way it took me over 30 minutes, but I did not have any corroded junk to deal with, here in God's country but it prolly took another 30 minutes to bleed......the entire process started during car talk and finished at the beginning of wait wait. so

np. you should be fine. florida.... no corroded cooler hook ups and such. that, I think is where people struggle. I can see it would take some fiddle-f@#$ing about, if you have to pull the radiator separate from the 2 coolers.

sea turtles are pretty fast..... swimmers

Never ever use Partsgeek. They are a fraud mostly.

Only get a Nissens Radiator from rockauto.com
About $225 shipped.
That's what I did.

fraud? how so? I've dumped a ton of cash with them. only get what I pay for and coupons for next purchase. once I was offered an annoying survey, but declined.
now, you have me worried. what gives?
