Default Questions on 2003 Discovery SE7

Hi all,

I just bought a 2003 Discovery SE7 and absoutely love it! I do have a few questions though ...

1. I can't seem to be able to program the Homelink (in the bottom of the rear view mirror). I follow the directions in the manual, but the lights don't start blinking. Any ideas?

2. I have the six-disc under-seat CD auto-changer. Does anyone know if there is a disc shuffle mode for this unit? I can get it to shuffle for the same disc, but not multiple ones.

3. Fuel consumption is not any worse than my (just traded) '99 Durango, but is there anything that can be done to get a little more mileage? At the very least, it drives and looks much better than my former set of wheels.

Thanks,
-Anthony

The CD player doe not have a shuffle mode.
How many miles on the truck, what octane gas are you running and have you done any tune related work on it yet?

The Discovery has 48K Mi on it and I do use Premium gas. I haven't done anything to it - only had it for a couple of weeks.

I've seen some articles on the Hiclone - anyone have this or a similar product?

BTW, I got the HomeLink to work - the web site says to hold the outside buttons for 20 seconds.

So what sort of mileage are you getting, in town and on the road?

My homelink won't program either. I have a friend who has it on his Yukon and it won't program with my transmitter either. Maybe some devices just don't work with it as well as others?
