I just received the front brush bar for my 03 Disco from Rover North. After reading the instructions I was surprised to find that the front bumper needs to be removed and have 2 holes cut into it for the installation. I asked Rover North specifically if any modification needs to be done to the vehicle before the purchase but I never got a straight answer. Now for those who have experience with this installation on 03/04 vehicles:

1] Does the bumper need to come off? Can the holes be opened while the bumper is on the vehicle?

2] There are only pictures (no text) in the installation instruction. It looks like I'd have to remove the front grille, bumper, and a U-shaped piece behind it. Do I need to remove the fog lights and headlamp washers also? Anything special I should watch out for before tearing into the front? Any pointers/tips for this installation?
