Wink questions for those with a 3 inch lift

I've been talking with rovertym about options to lift my disco. They recommend -

3 inch Springs
Ome sport shocks
Brake lines
ABS extensions
Adjustable panhard bar
Rear Watts linkage
Caster corrected radius arms
Remove sway bars or quick disconnects

Am I missing anything?

yeah, if you stay at 2" you avoid spending a bunch more money

supposively if you put a 2" lift on a sagging disco you get 4" of lift.

I think the RTE is about 4" of lift on a sagging suspension. Personally I wouldn't go all out and buy all this stuff wait to see if its necessary. The brake lines are ok though.

x2 Old Man EMU. They sell a great 1.75" suspension kit specifically designed for the Disco II like NT suggested. Coils, shocks and steering stabilizer. The kit is $700+- and you can install it yourself.

RTE is recommending what is needed for extreme articulation. If you're not going to use your truck for extreme stuff you can save a lot of money by eliminating the Watts links and the front radius arms from the setup. I ran the HD OME and had plenty of flex without all that stuff.

I haven't ruled out the two inch, but I am seriously considering the 3 so I'd like to hear from those with it.

A 3" lift with the parts I listed should be more capable than a standard 2". As it stands now, I'm bottoming out the front and rear bumpers on the trail, and I'd like more clearance and more articulation.

That's what I'm looking for, extreme articulation. I'm on two wheels way too often. I wonder if I could use the Watts linkage with the 2" and eliminate the need for the radius arms and panhard bar. May have to check on that.

just remember the higher you go the more correction needed for caster...

The panhard bar doesn't really effect articulation. The adjustable panhard bar allows you to recenter the front axle under the truck after the lift is installed. When you lift a Disco the front axle actually shifts a little to one side because of the change in angle of the panhard bar. By installing the adjustable bar you can increase the length which will center the axle. The axle being off center really doesn't effect drivability except the vehicle is more inclined to follow the ruts in the road.

The watts linkage is for the rear axle while the radius arms are on the front axle. Just changing one doesn't effect the need for the other.
