I recently bought a 2.0 mpi R380 conversions from a zombie motors out of oregon. And when I went to put the motor and gearbox in the shifter was in the wrong place. The r380 I have is out of a defender so the selector shaft is shorter. so then I contacted ashcroft transmission and purchased all the right parts to covert into a disco trans. But now im having trouble splitting the case. the rear output seal is what I'm stuck on now. I bought a split bearing puller but its not working. Any thoughts? Should I just buy a disco R380?
