Just got an 04 DII the radio is asking for a code. I have the code but I don't know the procedure for entering it??? I tried just entering the number but it didn't do anything. The display said CODE

This should be easy but I didn't find what button to hold down to make it take the code. My 99 doesn't have this.

Didn't you have a 5 digit code in the video ??
Either The code is wrong or the radio was replaced I'm guessing

Thanks green. Can I get the right code here? after watching the video my question sounds dumb. But some of the stuff I saw from googling was to hold the mode key till it beeps ( no beep) plus others.
HAve I overlooked the obvious

 

Call your nearest land rover dealership.
Ask to speak with the service department.
Tell the guy in the service department you accidentally reset your radio, and u need the code.
Give him your vin number, and he will give u the code free of charge.

That's why I asked what number u had. The code will be five digits long, then once u get it just type it in and you are set.

What he said. The code will be 5 digits and you just put it in. If I can do it.......

 

I called the dealer. Gave me my same code I had . Then told me to turn on the key and leave it for an hour then come back and put the code in. I will try it when I get home next week.

Hold on. Just so we are on the same page. This is a 04 Discovery we are talking about, and they only gave you a 4 digit code?
