How does one find out the code needed for the radio and how is it done after you get it? The car's been sitting for a couple years and previous owner not helpful, nor provided owners manuels- 95 Disco 1

 

Howdy. I ran into the same deal years ago. I called the local Land Rover dealer (here in Kansas City) and they had it on record from the previous owner I assume. Or maybe they have a database for all Rovers. Try your nearest dealer w/ your VIN #.

They have a data base for all rovers so you should be good.

 

Rover has cut back on their data base, many of the older Rovers are no longer kept on file. If your's is one of those, have your dealer run a print on out your truck and where it was first sold, then contact that dealer office and ask them to pull the original file and get you the code.
