Ok, so like many of the people out there my battery went dead and i lost radio. But when it comes up and says code i enter the code and it will beep at me and still say code. I have tried it several times and got nothing. Other than turning it on and just entering the code is there soemthign special i should push or do ? Anyone have step by step instructions for this...

Try turning on the radio without installing the code, leave it on for a couple of hours while driving around then try rentering the code.

I looked in the workshop manual and I couldn't find any explicit directions. I'd give a rover dealership a buzz. I'm going to have to do the samething myself here as I recently disconnected the battery. Let me know if you figure it out.

 

All you need to do is enter the code. As you enter the last digit the radio should start working.

 

Ok, I left the radio on and the truck on ACC for an hour and a half and came back and entered the code and it kicked on just fine Thanks!
Although now i have to try to figure out why there is a weird electrical buzzing in the radio when its on.. Its weird. When you have the truck off it doesnt buzz. When you turn the truck on it buzzes really loud and you can hear the rpms through the stereo as you accelerate...
Im going to remove the radio to see if anything in the back of it is loose. Anyone else had this issue?
