Default How to use SEAFOAM, please need step by step directions

I got my disco backafter being in the shop for a lonnng time, and now it runs! BUT still misfiring, my mechanic kind of give up on it, so now is on me. The readings are P1313, P1314 and P1316 the left bank is the problem (he said) the injectors for sure. The injectors have been clean, but not with SEAFOAM.
Before getting new ones and spend another thousand, I guess I can try SEAFOAM.

So, please if anyone can help me out and give me some directions I will truly appreciate it! and also I read in this site http://www.seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUpTechGas.htmthat you can put it on the fuel tank, should I start with that and se what happens?
Thanks
Joey

I would check the injectors. There are specialists who can test the injector atomization quality and spray pattern. Diesel techs are pretty good at this. You could also swap the problem injectors from one bank to the other and see if the problem changes sides. Nothing like working with gasoline under high pressure.

It's been posted numerous times. Do a search and you'll find it for sure.

The injector were change from the left to the right and the problem move to the right side, so is the left side. I would check one of those specialist.

Ok, I would do my research, but quick question. Can seafoam be put directly on the fuel tank?

Thanks

By the codes, you have cat damage on both banks and excessive emission misfires.
If you want to clean the injectors and assuming they are not in need of replacement, go buy a can of B&G's 44K. I like SeaFoam but when it comes time to get serious, the 44K is the best gas additive to clean out the injectors and carbon.
Don't use it as an induction cleaner, that is not what you need, you need to clean the injectors.
If after a tank of gas, it is no better then you need to replace the 4 bad injectors.
