Did you use a 2mm allen to remove those screws?

I need to get my radio at to access the wiring for my A/C controls on my 97 Disco. I've taken everything out except the radio. I've even taken it to Best Buy to get it removed and the tech there had no idea how to get it out.

The guys at my Best Buy had no problem when I had a new head unit put in.

It's either a 2mm or 2.5 but a standard hex will work. Keep turning until the screws won't turn anymore.

I just went and bought a 2mm allen wrench and loosened the screws just until the face lossened, but I did not fully remove them. Then I put my fingers into the tape deck and pulled pretty hard and it just slid out.
Good luck.
