this for one of my '04s.

every once in a while i will get misfires at start up on all four cylinders on side 1. to be clear, cylinder 1, 3, 5, 7.

i have already changed out the coils, 8mm wires and plugs. previous to changing everything i was also getting the misfires, although they seemed to happen right after a good rain.

is there a ground connection or some thing else i can check?

i'm kinda at a loss at this point.

Check the connections to your o2 Sensors
i had to cut mine out and replace the plug.

 

Perform the pcv Valve mod and replace your fuel purge valve as these are good maintenance items and are connected to your air intake mixture

all good advice and i have done the fuel purge valve already, but not sure how either of these items would cause misfires on only one side.

regardless, i do plan on doing the PCV mod on both my '04s soon.
