Long story, short... I recently moved and changed my computer and trying to get my Rave cd to read on my new Mac, I can't get the pdfs to open.

Is anyone using the rave-cd on a mac? It used to work on my old mac (Snow Leopard I think it was). It's only PDFs so not sure what the issue is, but since it's a faked-out windows cd I guess that's part of the problem.

Anyway if anyone has a workable way to use the rave cd on a new-ish mac, that would be great to hear!

 

Can you open any PDF's ?

 

What RAVE PDFs do you want that you can't easily download from websites directly onto your Mac?. The DII Workshop Manual is linked in my signature. And you can find the Electrical Library and Electrical Circuit Diagrams PDFs with a search (or I can email them to you).

 

All Macs open PDFs in the Preview.app.

i was thinking.... are you trying to open the individual RAVE PDFs? Or the RAVE ISO file?

 

I click "Discovery II" and I only get the single picture shown in the next attachment.

This is a one-page pdf.
I open the rave-lr.pdf file which has the "Technical Information" menu. I used to be able to click the "Discovery II" button and it would open the full rave pdf section.
Now it just opens a one page pdf view with a picture of a Disco but nothing else.

@mln01 I have the overhaual manual that I found separately but I'm trying to chase a problem with my aux fan, so I AM looking for electrical diagrams... I'll keep looking but if you can send that would be great.

@JUKE179r I'm trying to open what I think is the main link, but I've also looked at individual pdfs in the subdirectories but I don't seem to find what I think is the full rave.
