Got bored and read through the dark corners of the RAVE and found this mention in the Panel Repairs section...

 

That’s definitely not correct.

The doors and roof are steel

 

1) Find a magnet.

2) Test whether or not the magnet sticks to the roof.

3) Report findings here.

 

Oh haha, I should make clear that I'm not saying it's aluminum. I know first hand from the rusty spots I'm always waging war against that it's not haha. Just interesting that something so officially incorrect made it into RAVE.

 

When snow is expected, I cover the windshield with plastic held with magnets from the roof. So it is not aluminium.
