Default Really bumpy ride

Hey guys does anyone have an idea as to why it's so bumpy like I feel every small hole on the road and off-road big bumps slam the back of the car and I always hear a bang or big clunk, I just like 3 weeks ago got new springs and shocks and have replaced steering rod and drag link, any idea as to what else might need to be done?

What springs? What shocks? New Steering Damper too? How much extra weight on/in your truck? What Tires? What air pressure?

Might be able to make a more educated guess with more info.

As an initial matter, it's a solid axle truck. If you're used to the ride of a vehicle with independent suspension, it's going to feel rougher because any shock to one side will travel to the other side.

The suspension on these vehicles are simple. If it's still too rough, you've either put too stiff parts on and they're not damping properly, or you've put too soft parts on and you're running out of suspension travel. As noted, more detail on your vehicle would help.

watts linkage, sway bar linkages, any of the suspension bushings... there are so many things it could be.
or since you just went through and replaced a bunch of stuff, maybe something was installed incorrectly.

It has bilstein 4600 gas shocks and terrafirma medium duty springs that gave it a slight lift also new steering damper also bilstein, no extra weight. Heavy duty driveshafts if that counts as extra weight.

Do you have any other modifications to the car, e.g. steel bumpers? Medium duty springs are going to be too stiff for an unmodified vehicle.

I have had the Bilsteins before, I recall they were quite firm. Still I agree tire pressure and load rating will contribute.
