Default Rear cargo tie downs

Has anyone used the plastic "T" tie downs in the rear cargo area ? Are they just toys for looks ready to snap ?? Or will they hold a 2 gallon rotopax securely in place ? I just want to know before use , because if they break easy , I don't want my cargo area looking too trashy .

My tie downs are metal and they’re pretty strong.

Think Harvir is talking about the D-rings on the floor. The plastic T's molded into plastic storage areas are "somewhat strong". Now...just 'how strong'...that kind of has to be determined...by trial and error. I believe a gallon of water is in the 8 pound range...so you're talking 16 pounds...l'd think that may just be a tad to much for those plastic T's. To me, those T's are more for cargo netting.

EDIT: if you have storage compartments...l fit a five gallon water container in mine nicely. I'll go see if l can dig up a picture.

Pictures...

Yeah , no , the " T " supports . The Deputy is correct . Just for netting . To hold tissue or balloons . BTW . Nice jug setup .
