Default Rear door adjustment?!?!

So I drove around for a while with my rear door fully open (don't ask...) and now it's hanging low...in other words, when I try to close it I have to lift the door to get it to line up. Is there a known method for adjusting the hinges? I noticed two round plastic covers in the door by the hinges and they reveal a small bolt head. Is this an adjusting bolt?

I already tried loosening the hinge bolts and shifting it around a bit, but as with other shtuff I try it did not end well. Let me know if you are a door guru....I'm also having trouble with the lock sticking, but I'm pretty sure that's associated with the door being out of whack.

I'm sure it's also completely possible that I have completely bent the hinges....

good times!

Do you have the RAVE manual? If not, download it from www.landroverresource.com

It has a section on removal and refitting the tail door, with a blurb about adjusting it. It basically say don't tighten the hinges all the way, move it around until it's right, and then tighten them down. There are drawings too.
