Default Rear Fender Damage

Hey LR Community,

Im pretty new to the Land Rover scene (am a very active member of jk-forum.com, in case any of you have any jeeps out there). So last night my girl hit the side of the garage pulling in. I have some pics of the damage. Luckily, it was all taken by the plastic, no body damage. So i got a couple questions for you guys. first, is there a write up anywhere how to remove this piece from the door? it may be really easy, but i havent had a chance to look at it in daylight yet. second, where should i look for a new piece? im sure the dealership is not my cheapest option. really appreciate any help i can get here.

ps. its a 2004 disco II SE

Held on by some really good double sided tape. Pull...really hard after removing the screw on the inside of the fender. Any pick and pull with a series 2 Disco will have one.

I apologize...welcome to the forum. You might want to closely look at the 60K sevice write up by DiscoMike at the top of the forum and there is great info in the how-to section. Recommend you download the Rave manual. Vital information for keeping your Disco healthy.

Yeah, they come off pretty easy as mentioned above. Take it off and see if you like what it looks like without them. Some like it more, some don't. If you like the look, pull off the rest and you're good to go!

But if you want another one, keep an eye out for people parting out in the community section on here or other forums. Also give Will Tillery a call at 434.251.9331, he may or may not have the piece you need.

Thanks for the info guys. I checked the for sale section on this forum, but dont see anything recent. i called the dealer, they want $69 for the part. Thats not too bad, right around what i was expecting.

and thanks for the conact Camdisco, but my guess is that it will cost more to ship the part to me than its worth if i dont go local.

Where can i get said "Rave manual"??

Yeah, my wife backed into the same gate 4 times before so learned to check if the gate is open before backing out.

I'd try to putty/sand/paint the thing before buying a new one. Just me.
