Hey, I recently got my plates and as Im putting the rear one on I noticed that the holes are misaligned and the license plate will not fit. The truck did not come with a rear bracket, however the fron license fit with no problem with no bracket. I did a google search as well as a forum search with no answers.

So, my question is do I have to get a specific bracket made for Land rovers for the rear license plate to fit or is it something I can pick up at WalMart?

I had the same problem so I just drilled my new plate to fit as I was in a hurry. You can order a rear license mount from british atlantic for about 24 bucks. Steve

 

I was thinking about that but wasnt sure if it was legal or not... so im assuming it is is legal?

 

Im not sure if its legal but I have not had a problem so far, been about eight months.

 

It is leagal, as long as the numbers/letters/experation date are visible.
I had no problems putting my plate on though, I did have a problem finding the right size bolts/thread countto use though.
