Default Rear Steel Bumper: Rimmerbrks vs AB/Lucky8 Britpart

Has anyone purchased a rear steel bumper from rimmerbros?

https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-RD123...hoCarEQAvD_BwE

It’s only $235 and looks exactly the same as the Britpart bumper at AB and Lucky8, but the part number is different. For almost $200 less, I’m tempted to buy this instead of the Britpart, especially since I can’t tell a difference and rimmerbros seems to have a good reputation. Just curious if anyone has experience with that specific bumper.

Here’s the Britpart bumper:

The shipping cost is why it is cheaper. I believe it is the same bumper

I've been starting to look at steel rear bumpers, maybe a silly question. Do you move the stock light assembles over to the replacement bumper? They list lights as sold separately, but it looks like you simply move the existing light housings over.

You should be able to use the original tail lights.

I would be interested to hear if the shipping truly is that cheap as I noticed it also said 2-3 working days. I think that is for mainland UK delivery. I have been wrong before though

If it was truly that cheap I’d buy one today.

That $25 shipping is for mainland UK. If you try going through checkout for shipping to the US the shipping cost becomes "TBD"

Yup, it was a lie. I even tried checking out and, through PayPal at least, it actually took me all the way to “Pay Now” with $25 shipping listed, which is a serious system error. So I got on live chat just now and here’s what the agent said, for shipping to my home in Northwest Arkansas:
Max: Our shipping is based on size and weight. I show the bumper is $234.14 and the shipping would be $91.92

So $325 total. Still a $90 savings over Lucky8’s Britpart offering.
