Default rear step for SE

Thinking of purchasing a rear step for my SE. Don't see where it attaches on the frame of the '03 DISCO. Is the rear step exclusive to the SE7's?

Thanks

yes, I believe so. Its possible it could be ordered as an option but if you not sitting anyone in there why would you order it. I looked at mine once to remove it I think it attaches to the trailer hitch and the frame rail

I plan on installing one on the 04 as soon as I can get back to working on it. Like Dusty said, "I use mine every time that I get on ladder to access roof" . Dusty Did you need to drill to get it in there? Or did it come already installed ?

Wish i had one on the 99 when loading and offloading canoes etc.
Plenty used ones out there.

I don't see any factory holes on my stock '03 SE where the piston may attach. May have to drill holes. Hmmmm...

If it's a Landrover original part it'll be seriously expensive - take out a mortgage before you go to the 'stealership'.

I've got an 03 'S' and those holes already exist on the frame. I almost bought this step a while back and will likely do so soon. I found a used one for $50 in perfect shape.

The piston attaches to the bracket on the step which bolts to the frame. I'm pretty sure no drilling is required.
