Default Rear Sunroof Rattling

The rear sunroof of my 98 Disco I has rattled ever since I purchased it. Today, I finally went back and found the cause. The passenger side is fine; however, the driver's side is the source of the rattle. There is a rubber (I think) "spacer" missing from the piece of the assembly that follows a track allowing the sunroof to slide open. Sorry for likely not using proper termanology there but that's part of the problem. Does anyone know what that part is called so I can look for a replacement. Also, if there's an easier way than purchasing parts I am open to suggestions.

Thanks... Todd

go here:

Çàï÷àñòè äëÿ Land Rover

click on "in english" and then microcat. You can find a break down of the sun roof parts under body and chassis. maybe you can find the part that way. (I have to use internet explorer to get it to work.. )

Looks like they ripped the graphics out of Microcat. That's a much easier way to look things up (for me at least) than having to fire up Microcat.

DarylJ, what do you use for schematics like this (cost?)...Honestly, I have never heard of Microcat, but I sure wish I had found this site a long time ago...

Its dealer only software. You just might be able to find it somewhere on the internet if you search. And you just might need to set your date back to December of 2010 to get the last version that you might be able to find somewhere to actually launch.

Seriously...that web site is much easier.

Compared to some of the schematics I have seen, this site is a cakewalk.
