Default Rear Suspension Question

My 99 Disco II is having rear suspension issues. If it is parked for 3 or so hours the rear suspension lowers down to the tires. Once the vehicle is started it returns to normal in about 10 seconds. I just bought this so I don't know if this is normal??? Help Please!!

Default RE: Rear Suspension Question

Based on similar issues I had with my Lincoln, you probably have a leak either in one or both air springs in your air suspension. It also could be a stuck solenoid slowly letting air out. When you're driving you don't notice that the compressor is keeping up the pressure, but when you stop, the compressor isn't coming on and the vehicle drops. Keep in mind that I've never worked on this problem in a Rover, but in my Lincoln I sprayed soapy water on the suspension parts and easily found the leak that way. I used http://strutmasters.com for my replacement parts. They make Rover air suspension parts as well and I can definitely recommend them.
