Rear view mirrow
Next on our list of things to do on the Discovery II is to replace the discolored auto-dimming rear view mirror. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have a source for this part.
Does anyone here have one they'd like to sell? Is there a part from another vehicle that fits correctly?
Any help would be great.
Thanks!

No disrespect intended (really), but given your user name this is a question that made me smile.
I sold one on eBay a couple of months ago or so. I'd check eBay or a local salvage yard or Paul or Will or Marty.

No worries, I don't take myself so seriously that I can't smile at the situation myself.
Besides, I've found that the best forums have vendors and customers that can rely on each other.
I have a few eBay mirrors on my watch list and I'll go that route if I don't find one here. I'd rather help out a forum member than make eBay richer. I already do enough of that... oemparthaus on eBay

I can buy a full set of TF shockers for that price
that's gotta be the most expensive rear view center mirror I've seen to date, auto dipping and compass whatever
On my jaguar, I had a rearview repaired by Sybesmas. Not sure if they touch Rovers, but might be worth a call.

Thanks for the help, guys.
I decided to take mine apart, clean the oil from between the glass and mirror and put it all back together.
Works perfectly as a regular mirror. I'm not really concerned about the autodimming feature.
