Default Rear Windows Not Working, ECU SOLDER?

So when I bought my truck about 1 month ago the rear windows only went down "after the truck had been running a little while." Suddenly they work no longer. Does this sound like the Window ECU?

yes !
This is quite a common problem...the fix is to remove the window ecu and locate the problem circuit and resolder it, OR buy the "Window ECU Repair Kit" from Atlantic British, OR PM me with your fax # and I will fax you the directions as well as my own drawing....you are esentially bypassing part of the ecu with a jumper wire. let me know if I can help.

The wiring your talking about is the the rear door correct?

I can't get the stupid plug off the ecu..

Once I get it out, how do I tell the bad solder joint and how is it "bad" do i just re solder it?

Yes, REAR windows are usually the problem with this thing.
The plug does come off a little hard...as I remember there is some sort of a lock tab arrangement there.
Once it's out , the plastic case( cover) will pop off the circuit board.....and normally there is an obviously bad solder point, may even look burnt a little...and a little solder there is normally all that's needed. If you search here a little more there are some pics by others who have done this.
if all else fails, like I said I can fax you a easy diagram on how to bypass this, a couple connectors and about 2' of wire are all you need.
good luck

I was thinking the same thing. I have had my Disco less than a week and the right rear window has stopped working!!!!
