Continuing from 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes, now after ten years of the simian flu virus spread and killed off nine in ten humans, the apes group led by Caesar has nested in the woods near the ruins of San Fransisco while some remaining humans are surviving in the city. Seeking to reach a broken dam for electricity in the apes' grounds, the humans send a group led by Malcolm.

uh, seems pretty obvious, to me. the monkeys have taken control of our planet. In a very lazy attempt at story or plot, the remaining humans need electricity, that is controlled by the monkeys. I am guessing the humans found a tv or something.
RIVITING!!!!


I hear the next monkey show of this type, is to be centered around control of the last remaining massage chair.

 

The humans are staging a surprise attack on the Apes' stronghold where the latter has laid siege to the dam. The dam where the much needed electricity is being generated. The humans are desperate for the crucial source of power for their TVs. Reality TV has been their prime source of living inspiration ever since the Apes took control of Mother Earth. The daily episodes of reality TV harks back to the glory days of homo erectus on the planet.

The humans amass at dusk to lay the surprise attack for the next day....

A Disco carrying a rocket launcher is the the humans' sole weapon of hope. They roll the Disco up the launch point near the front lines. Lo and behold, the element of surprise quickly disappears when the Apes caught wind of the Disco clambering up the hill with its noisy engine ticks.

 

......and it only made it half way up the hill, due to the lack of gas stations at 1/4 mile increments. the dam dirty apes have control the of fuel supply, too.

If you want to see apes or gorillas you just walk into the local bar here and observe some of the home grown 'knuckle draggers' from the village. you don't need to watch them on the big screen.
