Question Rebuilding brakes master cylinder ?

Hello... A master cylinder rebuild kit seems it is just these few parts ----> https://www.ebay.com/itm/29421052118...el%3ADiscovery
Is that all ? Can anyone please link a rebuilding video ? Everything I find is for replacing the master cylinder Anyone did it ?

Master cylinders, brake cylinders, they all rebuild the same. Clean, hone, reclean, inspect, lube with brake fluids then reassemble.

The only time I've really fooled with rebuilding brake to clutch items was when the original was stupid expensive or a replacement obsolete...like on 67 fj40 rear wheel brake cylinders. Most of the rebuilds I've done were brake calipers and cylinders for old pre 80s Honda motor cycles.

If you tear down to find any pitting, don't bother with ordering rebuild parts.

You will need a brake cylinder hone. I've also done them with sandpaper taped to a dowel, then attached to a drill but the hone works much better.

At the shop we glass bead blaster and ultrasonic cleaner but it's not necessary to make them look brand new for them to work like new, but it does look nice.
