Default Rebuilt engine

Looking for a used or rebuilt engine for Discovery. Anyone tried one of the online sites? How much should I expect to pay for a rebuilt engine? I don't have a clue!

For what year and model, with or without SAI? Makes a big difference.

What is wrong with your current engine? May not be worth putting another engine in it unless you will be doing all the work and can steel one.

Had just purchased the car, drove about a mile when it began loosing power. The engine blew! Just my luck. Just trying to figure out my options at this point.

I hate to be a party pooper, but you are in financial hurts with this one. If it were mine and I couldn't steel an engine, I would start considering selling it for parts.

Can you explain how it "blew up"?
Did it throw a rod? Seize? What?
