Well I just got my recall notice for supposed leaky fuel tanks in and around the welds... Action B156 ( 1993-1997 disco 1 and Range R Classic)....so if anyone replaced the fuel tank recently you can probably get your money back if it falls in the production numbers like mine... The dealer will get me in soon but they said the fuel pump may not work with the new tank if the wiring is corroded... so. I probably will end up having to pay for the fuel pump so the dealer can recoup some losses...,then again free service for the whole deal.. which is great @ $90/hr.
Im going to tackle rotating the wheels next weekend. Is there a specific method to this? Which wheel should go where? I also have heard that the lug bolts can round out to the point that you must replace them after you take them off... is this true? Any need to have an alignment done afterwards?
Thanks for any advice...

Elliot,
The Dealer was smart by warning you ahead of time of possible problems. Remember, the Dealer did not manufacture the vehicle. They are just trying to repair it.
Land Rover does not recommend rotating tires. This is based on full time four wheel drive. All tires wear equally.
You will need A 27 mm socket or equivalent. Wheel alignment is not needed unless abnormal tire wear is indicated.

if you do decide to rotate, which i can only see if your font tires are getting more wear than your rear follow this method. I woulden't bother rotating your spare in.
pass. front to driver rear
driver rear to pass. front
driver front to pass. rear
pass. rear to driver front

I read in one of the LR owners club magazines that you should rotate every 7000 mi. Otherwise the tires can wear abnormally... I wont bother if you think this isnt so. I was planning on using the leverage bar to take off the nuts that was included with the truck.
as for the recall:
Im just going to have the dealer check that the cracks are not there... if there are no cracks in the tank I wont do the service...
Thanks guys!
