This button only works if I press and hold it down
Lights up while pressed and volume of air increases
Yet when I remove finger it turns off

Is this a common issue how much if a PITA is it going

There is a spring/lock that holds it in, probally just need a new switch.
But answer me this...why do you want to use the ricuculate button? Do you live by a landfill?

I take offense to that, I grew up on a farm.

Now drivepast a landfill or a sewage treatment plant and I am all over that button.

Living in OKLA. , you need a sponge to remove all the humidity from that hot air.
