Any good recommendations for replacement Mass Inflow Sensors other than Bosch.

Just trying to save a buck.

 

The advice I saw hear that made sense to me: For the price of the Bosch you can buy three of the Rock Auto SKP ones and have $100 left over for a nice meal with the significant other. They are easy to change, so just keep a spare on hand.

Also, when they fail, you can unplug them and the engine will run open loop and get you home.

So, that is what I did.

 

Not sure about the 4.6 but the the 4.0 it's the same Bosch sensor as VW uses for much less. You'll have to remove the sensor and install it into your intake pipe. I unfortunately don't. Remember that part number but it was posted in several disco forums.
