Default Recommended brake pads

Hi - my brake pads are approaching the limit and I'm wondering what the current "recommended" pad is. I installed Akebonos previously, and was very pleased - low dust, no noise, great wear. Is there anything newer out there that would be comparable or a better choice?

Thanks,

DRW

+1 on that. I put them in 2 months ago. They feel good & hardly any brake dust compared to the cheapy's that were on the truck.

+2 for Akebono ceramic rear brake pads #ACT493 & front brake pads #EUR676.

Power Stop Ceramic brake pads have been excellent for me from Rock Auto/Ebay. Virtually no brake dust or brake fade.

I bought this kit and it was a pretty easy install. Seems like good stopping power with no dust.

Yep Brake Motive = Power Stop Rotors/Pads. Zero issues on all the vehicles I’ve installed them on! LR3’s are know to eat Rotors/Pads and nearly 50k on them and they still look & stop excellent. Pads are finally at the halfway point but no groves or wear marks on the rotors!
