i am alive and well and just got back in WA after driving rover back across the country. puppy wife and rover are all doing well.
rover came out of it all very well - had to break out one of the triangle shaped windows in the back door to get in after vehicle locked itself and battery went dead (?!)
then i hit an big assed owl doing about 85mph on I-90. sounded like it put out the newly installed grill (it didnt) but it did leave a COOL blood stain on the rover emblem.

my guess was that it was some super endangered, $100,000 fine to kill, rallying symbol to the hippys type of owl so lets not mention this to PETA....

We are happy to sea you are back safe and sound. If you graze through the/this thread you may notice that in your absence we spent most of the time busting your ba..... er we discussed how you lead such an adventurous life with envy. Sorry to hears about having to break into your own vehicle, the blood n guts is awesome - glad your and yours made it back - wishing you and yours a better New Year.

PS - when in pilsner's case, your battery and all dies is breaking into it all you can do? does it auto-super lock?
