so, general consensus is to go original part? freaking ridiculous price.

 

If you're getting a new hub, I'd go aftermarket.

 

I'd get a used hub. I think, but could be wrong, that a couple of guys sell them for like $50. Maybe it was $75? With a warranty.

 

Concerned about the used hub. Would have to get lucky I think finding one that was replaced "recently" on these 10 year old vehicles I think. I'll ask Paul.

 

I don't think I saw an aftermarket on RoversNorth. Even the aftermarkets I've seen are expensive.

They're still pricey, but used can always be questionable, although that warranty is nice. Though I'm not too keen on going back in for seconds.

i know this is about landrover and not the retailer but it's a bit maddening.

right now i am faced with new headgaskets, new hubs, new bumper not to mention headliner and sunroof problems. the bumper i'm 99% sure is the TF from RN.

it's amazing how predictably problematic my truck is.

this upcoming investment surely takes me out of the reasonable cost vs. value club.

 

Genuine LR one is around $600 or so.

I have yet to replace a hub, but if you saw the list of things I've had to do on my truck you would faint. Every day that goes by without a repair puts a smile on my face, it's bad.

 

By the way both front and rear hubs are the same, the only difference is the length of the ABS lead.
