Default Reliable Disco Shops in Orlando/Kissimmee area?

Moved recently to Celebration, FL, and am looking for a good, reliable shop that knows how to work on Discos.

Thanks for the help.

You're welcome. Are you interested in some off roading? Look at the Weekend Mods thread and chime in.

My 1st advice is to bring your truck to James at British 4x4 in Jacksonville. My 2nd advice is Mickey at Best Motor Works in Gainesville. My 3rd advice (and most convenient to you) is E2 Services in Orlando.
  1. James doesn't have a web-site, but he knows what he's doing and will treat you right. I count him as a personal friend and stopped in there today to say hello. http://www.yellowpages.com/jacksonvi...0?lid=11043870
  2. Mickey is a great guy too, and a major Rover enthusiast. His wife drives a bad@ss D2... His web-site focuses on BMW, but don't let that fool you. Plus, at $69 per hour, he may be the lowest labor-rate in all of FL. http://bestmotorworks.com/
  3. I don't know Eddie very well, met him at a FLRC Rally last year, but I can attest that he knows his way around ANY Rover and has a reputation for being fair. http://e2orlando.com/landrover/home_landrover.html

Hope this helps, and please do check out the "Weekend Mods" thread!

Thanks for the info DiscoFever. Just moved down from Michigan and actually want to fix up the Disco and sell it soon. Don't have the cash to pay for the gas and upkeep right now. If you know of anyone looking to get a 2004 Disco SE in good condition send them my way.

I'm not here to bash E2 at all (they seemed quite competent), but I would only recommend them for a diagnosis...which was like $75 bucks. After that, all parts, labor, and even labor hours were a bit on the "high side".

That sounds about right, they're high on competence but not so much on passion for the brand. Don't get me wrong, they're into Rovers and support the FLRC, but dealing with them is a little more "cold".

BUT, I can't say enough good things about James and Mickey!

Yeah, that's a good way of saying it, and the exact feeling I left with...along with a bit of panic that came with their bid to fix my Rovers issues!

I have to disagree with you disco_fever. i have personally taken my Discovery to ed and mike at E2 for 4 years now and am nothing but happy with there work, done right the first time and prices are much less then the dealer.
As for not having passion for the brand that couldn't be further from the truth
Have you ever met these guys? I have personally watched Ed covered in mud fix a range rover at the flrc rally with ease when others where scratching there heads. Not "cold at all" best group of guys you could ever have under your hood.
