Default Removal of under dash fuse panel question

I removed the engine compartment fuse panel and cleaned all the connectors under neith including all the battery and ground leads yet sometimes I still get the symptoms of a near dead battery until it suddenly goes away without any indication and the truck starts right up.

I'm thinking I should do the same under the dash but do t want to pop,an airbag or something. Is it ok to just undo the battery and have at it? Is this even necessary?

Thanks

Eric

Wait 15 to 20 minutes after disconnecting the battery. At least that is what I remember when reading the RAVE about the airbags.

Last time I pulled the bcu out I disconnected the battery and immediately swapped it out.

It tripped the intertia switch and started back up with the new bcu.
