Remove window regulator with window down?
My driver's side front window is down for the count. I got the door panel off, and I can't see any obvious damage, but sticking my hand in the dorr, I can only lift the window an inch or so.
I have a few of questions.
Does the regulator come out with the motor?
Can I even get it out with the window down?
How do I remove the regulator?
Thanks,
John

Does the regulator come out with the motor? Yes
can i even get it out with the window down? Yes undo the lower 2 bolts with it 75% lowered to access the lower 2 rail bolts. Then lift the glass of the track and support it up at the back end with a bit of wood.
How do i remove the regulator? Remove the rest of the six or so bolts (near motor etc), unplug the motor, collapse the regulator down and remove through large bottom hole in inner skin, transfer motor and bottom plastic guide (if not on new one)to new regulator and refit is reverse or removal.

slave all the bolts in, plug motor in, then fully close the window, then tighten all bolts. Check window operation is smooth and correct speed in both directions, if it goes slow then loosen bolts in that position and re tighten, check operation again
