Removing oil pan; DI
I am about to remove the oil pan from my DI. Will I be able to get it out of there without having to tear all the suspension and steering linkage out?

nobody said it would be easy, but when I did mine the easiest way was to remove the ball joint from the driver's side spindle assy, and remove the steering stabilizer to swing the steering arm down and out of the way.
Oh yeah, THOSE two bolts. thin wall socket ,( like a 1/4" drive) and a long extension. I can't recall the exact chain of swear words I used but with a little practice I'm sure you'll find the right combo. good luck
lmfao a friend of mine said to remove the transmission inspection cover, and that will make it easier too. Thanks!
I did this a week ago.
I removed the steering stabilizer and lowered the sway bar by removing the brackets that hold it up. (in red circle)

I also jacked up the DI from at the chasis a little bit to the rear of where the sway bar is mounted. That gave me a lot more clearance between the axle and oil pan.

To get a screenshot, press "print screen" on your keyboard, open paint or some other imaging software and paste it.
