Default Removing rear mud flap.

Hello. I'd like to remove the rear mud flap but the are two rivots holding the flap between two metal pieces. Can I drill the rivots out to remove the flap? I'd like to keep the rest of the mounting that makes the wheel well. Thanx.

My D1 is a little different, but still held between 2 mtal pieces by rivets. I drilled mine out to remove the flaps. Make sure and paint them back up if there is any exposed metal after you remove them..

Cool, it looks pretty simple to do.
