Removing the rear wheel bearing

I am glad you got the nuts out without getting hurt. Hope you had warranty on your 1/2" breaker bar.
Anything requiring large torque, you should use larger socket driver.
White/Yellow separates from black. Small opening in the black has the protrusion that holds white connector into black connector. Push that in and pull each away. Dielectric grease these connectors when you are putting them back.

I hear ya, I went through (2) 1/2" breakers yesterday.
I plan on reusing the existing 32mm nut unless I tear it up.
The only reason I didn't go with the 3/4" breaker is that I couldn't find a 3/4" 32mm socket. I am going to try to track one down at Sears today as the parts are showing up tomorrow and I want to get this buttoned up by Wednesday

Another Tricky Dick chapter closed, just need to fill up the rear diff. Diff oil is coming tomorrow and I will also do the front diff while I am under there.
Oh! while I had it all taken apart I replaced the rear rotors and pads as well.
